Spotlight on Bournemouth v Notts

Tuesday, February 09, 2010, 07:00

Bournemouth duo Marvin Bartley and Steve Fletcher are both doubts for the game.

Bartley was forced off in the Cherries' goal-less draw against Cheltenham at Dean Court on Saturday with a recurrence of a calf problem.

Fletcher played 70 minutes with a back injury before being replaced by Alan Connell.

Lee Bradbury played against the Robins, despite flu. He is expected to continue at right-back after recovering fully from that.

Warren Cummings will return from suspension and will vie with Rhoys Wiggins for the left-back spot.

Notts boast a fully-fit squad for the trip to the south coast.

BOURNEMOUTH: Jalal, Bradbury, Pearce, Garry, Wiggins, Feeney, Robinson, Hollands, McQuoid, Pitman, Fletcher, Cummings, Goulding, Bartley, Connell, Thomas.

NOTTS: Schmeichel, Thompson, Edwards, Hunt, Jackson, Westcarr, Ravenhill, Bishop, Davies, Hughes, Hawley, Hoult, Clapham, Lee, Hamshaw, Rodgers, Akinbiyi, Fairclough, Canham.

Brett Pitman: The 22-year-old striker scored the opening goal in the FA Cup second round tie between the two sides at Dean Court at the end of November, before Lee Hughes and Craig Westcarr fired the Magpies to a 2-1 win.

He is the Cherries' top scorer with 17 goals so far this season. Four of those have been netted in his last seven games.

Ryan Garry v Lee Hughes: Notts' leading scorer netted the 150th league goal of his career in the 1-0 win at Grimsby Town on Saturday.

It was also his 22nd goal of the season for the Magpies.

The unenviable task of trying to stop him will fall on former Arsenal trainee Ryan Garry.
